A Warm Welcome to Divine Interiors.

Hi, I’m Jeanette. The founder and designer of Divine Interiors.

It’s wonderful to see you here.

Divine Interiors was born from a lifelong love for beautiful homes, architecture, and thoughtful design. Combined with a background in Business Management and Administration, years of hands-on experience in the interiors industry, extensive travel around the world, and a childhood dream of becoming an Interior Architect, eventually led me back to where I always belonged - drafting and designing beautiful homes and spaces.

Today, I am the heart and the soul of an interior design studio that expresses the essence of everything I value and love doing most - creating homes that help people live better, healthier and happier.

My mission, and the vision behind Divine Interiors, is simple: To create homes and spaces where people truly love to live and thrive.

My work draws inspiration from my Scandinavian origin, which has strongly shaped the way I see design. Simplicity, functionality, warmth, and timelessness remain at the heart of everything I create, enriched by inspiration gathered from cultures and interiors around the world.

Outside the studio, life is beautifully simple. I'm a devoted mum to my three wonderful fur babies and happiest when surrounded by nature, and endlessly inspired by New Zealand's spectacular landscapes, the crystal clear waters, and the mighty mountain ranges around me. Whether it's a walk through the mountains, time spent by the lake, or simply pausing to appreciate the changing seasons, these moments of connection continue to shape both the way I live and the spaces I create. Nature is where I feel most grounded, inspired, and connected - and that same feeling quietly finds its way into every home I design.

As I continue my studies in Architectural Technology, expanding my expertise in holistic residential design, I remain passionate about helping clients bring their wildest interior visions to existence and their dream homes to life.

Whether you're refreshing a single room, renovating an existing home, or creating something entirely new, I'd be honoured to be part of your journey.

Design Philosophy

On average, we spend nearly 90% of our lives indoors. Yet the spaces around us are often designed around appearance rather than the people who inhabit them.

I believe great design begins with something much deeper.

I believe that every home should feel like a sanctuary.

The essence of my holistic approach to interior design is rooted in my Nordic heritage and in my deep belief that the spaces we live in should be more than just aesthetically pleasing. Rather than following passing trends, I believe the most meaningful homes are those that respond to our timeless, fundamental human needs. Therefore, at the heart of my design philosophy is the Scandinavian concept of hygge - a way of living that responds to our fundamental needs for comfort, safety, functionality, connection, and belonging.

By creating spaces that nurture these needs, I seek to help people feel more connected to themselves, to one another, and to the natural world around them. Harmonious homes that continue to nurture, inspire, and support the people who live within them - for years, decades, and generations to come.

I guide every design with thoughtful spatial planning, careful zoning and space orientation, and the seamless integration of nature into the built environment. Drawing inspiration from biophilic design philosophy that integrates nature into our living spaces, and the timeless wisdom of the ancient art of Feng Shui, I strive to create interiors that promote harmony, optimised energy flow, and a profound sense of ease and everyday luxury.

My design philosophy isn't really about furniture or finishes - it's about improving your everyday life.

I’m excited to help you make your home your sanctuary – and your true happy place.
